- Campers are youth and adults who have been diagnosed with an intellectual disability such as Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy.
- Age Requirements: 13 years & up! We have campers from the age of 13 all the way up to their 70s!

-Each year campers complete an application to attend camp. SNCKI then reviews the applications to determine if the campers would be a good fit for the camp and also if there is available space for the campers.

- While attending camp, campers will be paired with a "Buddy" (camp volunteer). Campers, with their buddies' support, will attend different themed sessions such as Investigations, Arts, Exercise, & more. They will also attend big events together during the day, such as Magicians, Performers, and so forth! Campers and buddies form a very deep bond over the course of camp.

- Campers are also invited to our Seasonal Events each year! Buddies are also asked to participate in these events.

A "mini-reunion" occurs at each event. The events include:

- Fall Outing

-Christmas Outing

-Valentine's Day Dance

- Spaghetti Dinner and Auction Fundraiser

- Summer Camp

-Summer Outing

-Movie Night

- Every camper is paired with a volunteer (buddy) that helps them for the week at camp. The buddy's responsibilities include being interactive with their camper in everything they do at camp. This means attending sessions with them, accompanying them during the Big Event each day, and on our field trips! Buddies are expected to eat breakfast, lunch, and snacks with their camper each day. Counselors will very quickly form a bond with their camper if they interact with them!
